Air Filter Cleaners

Cleaning is Quick & Easy

When cleaned as directed, your electrostatic air filter will give you many years of trouble-free use. Failure to properly clean the filter may lessen filter effectiveness, and as with any air filter, it is possible for an excessive dirt buildup to cause air flow resistance sufficient to damage other ventilation components. Depending on your specific situation the filter should be cleaned every 4-6 weeks.

Cleaning Instructions

2024 UPDATE! Cleaning Arrows have been eliminated and you no longer need to wash any side first. Revised directions are below.

1. Simply remove the air filter.

2. Spray water on one side of the filter. This will remove dirt on the opposite side.

3. Spray Air-Care’s Filter Cleaning Spray to help with stubborn dust and stains. Then turn the filter around to wash the other side.

4. Repeat if necessary.

5. For a fresh deodorized smell in your home, use Air-Care’s U.O.K. spray (Ultra Odor Kill).

6. Let the filter air dry for approximately 20 minutes.

7. Replace the filter. Complete these steps every 1 to 3 months for the best results.
